Here's the usual lowdown: Cannes Film Fest keeps rolling on as stylishly as ever. Tonight was the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS benefit bash hosted by Madonna and Sharon Stone. though, sadly there's only 3 days left of the celebrity-studded fest, but (for those filmies who care, such as I) that only means the announcment of the winners; my bets for taking home the Golden Palm (i.e. best picture) are the Eastwood-Jolie flick Changeling; the Moore-Ruffalo-Bernal drama Blindness; the Brooklyn-set Paltrow-Pheonix rom-drama Two Lovers; the del Toro biopic Guerrilla/Che; or the Seymour Hoffman-Williams Synecdoche, New York- which premieres tomorrow. Actually- I'm really gonna miss all of these uber-glam fashions...
{Madonna, in '40s-style-secretary-garb, and hubby Guy Ritchie at amfAR}
{Madge at last night's premiere of her documentary I Am Because We Are, in Chanel}
{Sharon Stone at the Changling premiere, working full-on boho}
{and Sharon going in over-the-top-Roberto Cavalli-spots to the amfAR gala}
{Natalie Portman fulfilling her juror duties at the premiere of Che, in lovable Lanvin}
{Nat making a daringly perfect statement in Givenchy at amfAR}
{Michelle Williams resurfacing in Chanel from 1926 at her Adoration showing}
{Joshua Jackson & the always-gorgeous, Chanel flapper-adorned Diane Kruger}
{One of my fave old actors- Dennis Hopper and his wife, on their way to amfAR} {Mary J. Blige, with guest, going for regal red Marchesa at the amfAR event}
{Christian Slater & Jimmy Choo's Tamara Mellon in Kate Hudson's SAG Balmain}
{Georgina Chapman, co-designer of Marchesa, presumably in the line, at amfAR}{Dita von Teese dramatizing amfAR, in a stunning signature '40s look}
