News: I Cannes If You Cannes

Here's the usual lowdown: Cannes Film Fest keeps rolling on as stylishly as ever. Tonight was the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS benefit bash hosted by Madonna and Sharon Stone. though, sadly there's only 3 days left of the celebrity-studded fest, but (for those filmies who care, such as I) that only means the announcment of the winners; my bets for taking home the Golden Palm (i.e. best picture) are the Eastwood-Jolie flick Changeling; the Moore-Ruffalo-Bernal drama Blindness; the Brooklyn-set Paltrow-Pheonix rom-drama Two Lovers; the del Toro biopic Guerrilla/Che; or the Seymour Hoffman-Williams Synecdoche, New York- which premieres tomorrow. Actually- I'm really gonna miss all of these uber-glam fashions...

News: Cannes I Help You?

I'm running out of "Can/Cannes" puns... Anyway, the glamorous film fest continues on, with all of those celebs we just can't get enough of appearing on and off the red rug. I'm loving the fact that we're seeing lots of Brad and Angie, as well as Gwyneth- whose continuing to look super hot after all of those fab Iron Man looks. And I'm most grateful that the fest continues through the 25th!

News: Just Cannes-ing Around

The Cannes Film Fest continued in its stylish manner, as always. Last night was the premiere of the one-and-only Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, which brought out all the major attendees, as it is the biggest film opening there this year. But aside from that, there have been many other red rug openings of foreign films and bashes that were attended by many of the most fashionable.

{Cate at Indy's photocall in a purple floral number, purple seems to be a Cannes color}

{Perfect Natalie Portman in a navy vintage Chanel Couture gown, at Indy's showing}

{Eva Longoria Parker in a sassy peacock tube dress, working some hot spots}

{Salma Hayek working green Balenciaga and a milkmaid braid at Indy 4}

{Mischa Barton spent her last night at the French festival in Roberto Cavalli}

News: I Think I Cannes- On and Off the Red Rug

Ha, ha, like my pun? The Cannes International Film Festival is well underway, and set to premiere all of the movies we will all go gaga for at the box office (i.e. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, which is showing tonight; so expect a few more pics of the marvelous Cate Blanchett). Anyway, many other stars have been getting their glam on at other bashes.

{Eva Longoria Parker in Ferragamo; I don't know why she's there, but she looks good}

{Not looking so good- too much tulle for petite Eva, at the Kung Fu Panda premiere}

{Brad and Angie are all smiles at the Kung premiere; Jolie in Max Azria Atelier}

{Mischa Barton rocking a tiered boho dress by Matthew Williamson}

{Mischa making the press and party rounds in a citrus sundress}

{Lily Allen in a lingerie-style Chanel asymmetrical frock}

{Julianne Moore in Lanvin at a photocall for Blindness}

Look for Less: Natalie's Judgmental Cannes Outfit

My favorite actress- Natalie Portman- was serving her juror duties yesterday at a photo call at Cannes. I'm loving the way she managed to mix a Lanvin blazer with a Rotter and Friends T-shirt with Jenny Kayne shorts with Te Casan-rosette-adorned heels. Whew! All that sophistication in one hip package is hard to do, but you can too...(gotta stop rhyming!)

News: Here Comes Cannes...

Yay! Film buffs such as myself are rejoicing with the start of the Cannes International Film Festival; one of the greatest and legendary fests in the industry. And the latest pictures are in. Is this year starting off more fabulous than ever? I think so!

{Mischa Barton getting back to her fab self in Alberta Ferretti} {Natalie Portman exercising her juror duties in Lanvin on opening night} {Eva Longoria Parker in a trendy-super-bright Versace gown} {The-officially- preggers Angie Jolie looking radiant in Thomas Wylde} {The ever-best-dressed Cate Blanchett in a tiered Armani Privé gown}
