Parties: A "Super" Costume Institute Gala

First of all, two things:
1) Sorry for the lack of posts, school's ugh; summer va-ca in 17 days!
2) I hate to bring up a topic after so long, but I will.

On with the post...

The Metropolitan Museum of Art hosted their annual, legendary ball on Monday, May 5th; this years theme was "Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy." The grand event was hosted by Giorgio Armani, George Clooney, and Julia Roberts this year. All the A-listers and designers came out to celebrate, as always, and the night was a mix and mingle of who's-who. If only I had an invitation, (or a ticket- the cheapest costs a pretty $6,500...)

{Katie Holmes in vintage Armani- '80's prom, much?}

{Jennifer Lopez looking a bit dowdy in Alberta Ferretti}

{Mr. Clooney with gal Sarah Larson, both looking super sophisticated in Armani}

{A smiling Roberts in mother-of-the-bride Armani; with the designer, her date}

{The newlywed Beyonce looking angelic in silk organza Armani Privé confection}

{A sloppy-looking Scarlett Johansson, with her dress designers- Dolce & Gabbana}

{Posh & Becks, dressed like, umm, vintagey Posh & Becks in vintage Armani}

{Eva longoria Parker in an uber-regal Marchesa stunner}

{Kate Bosworth's vintage graphic & shiny number courtesy of Chanel Haute Couture}

{Chistina Ricci, all corseted in Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci Haute Couture}

{Diane Kruger showing of her usual fabulousness in Alberta Ferretti}

{The always-perfect Camilla Belle looking exceptionally gorgeous in Armani Privé}

{Rachel Bilson drowning in her turtlenecked Calvin Klein dress and heavy bangs}
