Trend Radar: Sheaths & Bold Necklaces

How's about one Upper East Sider channeling another sound to you? Well, it certainlysounds like a fashion palooza to me. In early April Sarah Jessica Parker looked chic and stunning on the red rug promoting the Sex and the City movie. Earlier in the week Gossip Girl's Blake Lively channeled the style setting star in a similar ensemle. Carrie is known to start a trend...

Trend Radar: Graphic Dresses

The following two ladies show off two ways to wear this trend- a wintery way and a summery way. You choose how to wear it, but, reminder- it's May.

Parties: Chanel's Tribeca Film Festival Dinner

Again, I apologize for the breif hiatis- school's a busy drag.

Is it possible to dress badly to a Chanel event? That answer is plain and simple: no. Especially since the attendees are practically required to pick out a dress from the showroom. Agh, I need to get over my envy. This past week at the Tribeca Film Fest Chanel hosted their annual dinnner party, whose guests included a whose-who of Hollywood. I'm sure it was absolutely fabulous, and I'm not just talking about what they wore.

Parties: Opening Night at the Met

The glitz, the glamour, ahhh, the Met. Yes, the other night was the opening night at the Metropolitan Opera sponsored by Yves Saint Laurent. Every year this gala brings out New York City's most famous, wealthy, and fabulous. And this year was no exception.

More Michelle on the Gossip Girl Set

Man, I'm pissed I missed last night's show... ugh. But anyway, I'm so excited for Michelle Trachtenberg's appearences on GG. So far I'm in love with her wardrobe, especially this outfit. (Blair's can be a bit ecccentrically prissy for me and Serena's is great, but I don't like the way her uniform's typically dressed up.) Anyway, have a look-see while I scrounge Youtube for clips of last night's show.

Blake & Leighton Bring Their Gossip to Nylon

Our favorite fictional fashionistas Blair and Serena's real life alter-egos Blake Lively and Leighton Meester are discussing Gossip Girl and rumors in the current issue of Nylon magazine. The gals look fab all dolled up, like everyday on set. Leighton said about Blair, “Maybe I’ve known [Blair] somehow or I know her in myself and she needs somebody to portray her in a way that isn’t completely harsh because she could be so hated.” This just only makes me crave tonight's episode even more!
